Piano restoration and repair
Our expertise covers everything from wooden framed tabletop pianos to Steinway concert grands. All makes are catered for and carried out in our on site workshop.
Action overhauling - From fitting a new set of key tops to replacing an entire action with new parts and everything in between, the work is carried out to the highest standards drawing on our many years of expertise and experience.
Restringing - We pride ourselves on the quality of our restringing work. Wrest planks (tuning planks) can be replaced. Frames are re-painted. Any soundboard cracks are repaired and re-varnished. Pianos are strung in the best quality German piano wire and tuned to concert pitch. We have restrung many hundreds of pianos and we're pleased to say that it's still good fun!
Repolishing - Our speciality! Although we are equipped to refinish pianos in modern finishes, the majority of our customers prefer the look and feel of a traditional French polish finish on their pianos, to a very high standard.
