Grantham Piano Services offer a wide range of new, second-hand and refurbished pianos, in either upright, grand or baby grand sizes catering for almost any requirement and budget.
The list below is a selection from the range of pianos that we can offer you. We can supply everything from beginner level uprights through to large grands, so if you do not see something that suits you on the list then contact us to see what else we can offer you. You would also be welcome to drop into our showroom and try the piano of your choice.

| Boyd - London - A straight strung, iron framed piano built in the 1920's. The piano is in a dark solid oak casework. An ideal piano for a beginner or those on a tight budget. |

| Cramer - London - An overstrung, iron framed piano built in the 1950's. The piano is in a light mahogany casework. Not in the best condition on the outside but it has a pleasant, soft tone and would make a thoroughly good starter piano. | ![]() |

John Broadwood " Sons - An overstrung, iron framed upright in a mahogany casework. This is a large upright from one of the most respected and good quality names in piano history. This piano was manufactured in 1924 and has had partial restoration to the action. A bright, powerful tone. |
| Kemble Minx - A small modern upright piano dating from the 1960's. It is in a light mahogany case and is small in height. These were classed in the selection of 'mini pianos' and in our opinion one of the better examples of the breed. In fair condition throughout, it has a big sound from a little piano and would suit a child or a small adult. | ![]() |

August Forster Upright - A Superb quality German upright piano built in the 1920's. A real musicians instrument that could do with some restoration. Typical smooth German tone and quality touch. |

Rogers Upright - An overstrung, iron framed upright piano in a mahogany casework. This piano is in a traditional style mahogany casework with a very nice tone and it dates from the 1920's. |
| Karl Lange Upright - This piano is a 6 octave overstrung iron framed piano dating from the 1960's. It has had extensive action restoration and is the ideal piano if space is at a premium. It has the proportion of a proper piano and is in an attractive matt mahogany casework | ![]() |

Wilh Steinmann Upright - A modern upright piano dating from the 1980's in a light mahogany casework. This piano is in excellent condition inside and out having undergone works the the action mechanism. It would make an ideal piano for an improver (grade 3+) with the added advantage of being a nice piece of furniture. |
| Zender Upright - A modern upright piano dating from the 1970's in a teak casework. It is a small piano in height and width being an 85 note instrument, but still having a nice rounded tone. The whole piano has been stripped and refinished in a modern satin finish and the internal condition is very good. | ![]() |

Bechstein Upright - A black ebonised cased, overstrung, iron framed Bechstein dating from the 1920's. Perfectly useable as it is, but could benefit from as much restoration as you would like. The piano at the moment has a very mellow tone. |

Pearl River Upright - A secondhand piano in superb condition of Chinese origin. More often seen under the names of Steinbach and Waldstein, this piano was built when the company were making pianos for Yamaha and so shares some design similarities with this most famous brand. |

Yamaha Upright U1 - A secondhand U1 model.. This is a 1970's example in a black polyerster casework. Always popular pianos with piano students giving a superior tone and touch than many new pianos costing the same amount. The U1 model stands at 121cms high. |
| Yamaha U2 - A nice example of a U2. Not as popular as the other large Yamaha models standing at 125cms high although this is probably due to the U2's rarity rather than anything else. A good size to get some serious tone from the piano, nice dynamics and fulsome bass complete the picture on a good value package. | ![]() |

Richter/Toyo Upright - This piano is a new upright in a black bright case. Made in the Chinese production facility of the well respected Japanese Toyo brand, this piano represents fantastic value for a piano of this size/quality. A European touch and tone complete the package. |
| Atlas Upright - A Japanese, secondhand, nice quality piano in a rarer Rosewood high gloss finish. This piano is in superb condition and is a very large instrument standing 131 cms high. Similar in size to the Yamaha U3 it produces a big, bright sound due to the larger string length (longer than most baby grands!) Much cheaper than the Yamahas too... | ![]() |

Kawai K-15E Upright - A lovely little piano with a large mellow sound and the build quality that goes with this world respected piano company. Not as well known as other Japanese manufacturers, Kawai make superb quality pianos at prices that are extremely reasonable. This is the baby of their upright range. |
| Waldstein Upright - A second-hand piano in superb condition of Chinese origin. This piano is only 8 years old so is in 'as new' condition. It is in a cherry case and is in the console piano style with a fixed music desk and cabriole legs. A matching stool is included. | ![]() |

Perzina 129cm - The top of the Perzina upright range. Thanks to its inverse crown and the floating soundboard this piano has a bass that has to be heard to be believed. Easily surpassing the depth of a baby grand piano and larger grands as well, it has the response, touch and tone that merits the title of 'upright grand'. |

Steinway model 'O' Grand - A 5' 10'' boudoir grand piano dating from 1927. This example is in an oak casework and is in very good order throughout. A very nice piano which has been lovingly cared for by its former owner. I have myself been tuning this piano for over 10 years so can vouch for (some) of its history. Come and have a go to see why Steinway pianos are considered the best pianos in the world. |
| Steinway model 'A' Grand - A chance to purchase a beautiful Steinway model 'A' 6ft 2in Boudoir grand piano. Built in 1898 it has undergone an extensive restoration which has included the replacement of its soundboard and tuning plank. The piano has been restored sympathetically to its age and it has had a traditional hand applied French Polish finish which has made the most of its fine quality Rosewood casework.
